METAMORPHOSIS

Are you a slave to the old ways? The ways of your ancestors? The ways of your peers? Associates? Friends? Celebrities? Government? When I ask the question “Where are you in your own creation story?” I am asking if you are the sovereign of your life, or are you still operating your life with the same outdated principles and methods of others?

When we come into the world, we automatically adopt the ways of the humans we see around us. This is an unconscious method of conditioning. We are conditioned to think, to feel and to act like the humans we observe, because they just by being in our space, they are communicating what it means to be human. If we do zero observation or research about other ways to be, other ways to do, other ways to have or create in life, we end up operating only from our conditioning.

Have you ever wondered what the ultimate goal of life is? If we are spiraling up to have greater and greater experiences and expressions of spiritual, mental, emotional and physical energies, do you ever wonder why? I wonder what the purpose of life is really about.

Finding the “soul mate” or “twin flame” is not the ultimate experience. Creating and having the best lifestyle available, the most money, the hottest business, the best of everything can’t be the real purpose of life.

What I started noticing in my own life is how everything seemed to come full circle. What I observed is how I would push, push, push my Self toward a goal I wanted to experience or have. When I reached the goal or had the experience, my energies seemed to be neutral or stagnant, almost as though waiting for my next command or adventure. Eventually, a new desire would pop up for me, I made it a new goal and I began the search and discovery as how to get to the new goal.

One of the most revealing aspects of the human ego has to do with CONTROL. Who is in control of your human vehicle? Although psychiatrists, psychologists, sociologists have dissected and labeled human consciousness in an effort to understand who, what, why and how we are who we are, our spiritual traditions and ancient texts have revealed the ways to become better humans. The focus on who we are or why we are the way we are seem to me to be easily revealed by the answer to the question – Who is in charge? In control of the Self, the person and the consciousness?

To get to the answer you must be able to recognize how the Highest Self operates, the ego self operates, how the Emotional Self Operates and how the body or physical Self operates. Each of the energies of these aspects of human consciousness play a role in the creations of our Self and our lives. All of these aspects create the Identity through which we operate our human existence.

Our planet earth has a cycle of movement that affects us directly. The nature of the cycle we experience is directly related to our location and environment on the earth. What we observe as the earth cycles around the sun is the seasons of our location changing – temperatures, wind, rain, clouds, sunlight exposure all causing various conditions to which we must adapt. All life on our planet is exposed to the changing conditions of our environments due to the cycle of the earth around the sun.  We know these facts but we still try to control the effects of these planetary mechanisms over which we have no control! Our survival on planet earth depends on our adaptability to the changing conditions of life on earth.  Cycles of change are the ultimate reality here - earth cycles and human cycles.
